With significant experience in construction management and design, our firm approaches your project from a different angle than a typical architecture firm. We firmly believe that you should build something that you can afford, so we start the process with your budget in mind.

No Project is ever the same with it's own intricacies and needs. After an initial consultation, we'll create a proposal with an estimate of the hours it will take to provide you with completed, stamped documents, ready for building. As with most service firms, Cory Smith Designs provide services on an hourly basis.

Following is a brief overview of each stage of the project process:

3. ‘As-Built’ Architectural Drawings (5 - 7 days) :

If you are remodeling your existing home, we will need a set of drawings that replicates your home as it is today. If you have the original architectural documents, we can use them to create this set of drawings. Otherwise, we will physically measure every dimension of your home, including walls, window and door openings, structural components, room sizes, etc. to create the ‘As-Built’ set plans and elevations. This is the starting point for any additions or modifications to your current structure.
