With significant experience in construction management and design, our firm approaches your project from a different angle than a typical architecture firm. We firmly believe that you should build something that you can afford, so we start the process with your budget in mind.

No Project is ever the same with it's own intricacies and needs. After an initial consultation, we'll create a proposal with an estimate of the hours it will take to provide you with completed, stamped documents, ready for building. As with most service firms, Cory Smith Designs provide services on an hourly basis.

Following is a brief overview of each stage of the project process:

5. Construction Documents (one to two weeks):

Once everyone is satisfied with the schematic design of both the plans and elevations, we’ll draft the final detailed set of permits and construction documents. These drawings include a final set of elevations, building sections, electrical layouts, wall sections and details for the final set of plans. There are typically seven to nine drawings that comprise a completed set of construction documents. These drawings will be stamped and ready for the owner to submit to the city.
